This month has been an important month for us, our partners and customers due to several releases we shipped. September is also a month with various events, such as Inner Circle and Directions USA, were we have received various updates from Microsoft. All in all an busy month for all teams to shake of the summer holidays and get busy towards year end. Below, you find two types of information:

  1. Solutions Updates tell you about our enhancements and plans for our solutions on Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Operations, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012, and Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2017.

Solution Updates

Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations

The key workload in our teams is on getting the solutions up and running on the 1707 Spring release. Product Engineering, Business Integration Solutions, the new Dynamics Anywhere and RapidValue are all there now and we are working on the releases for Invoice Workflow, Advanced Project Management, Advanced Maintenance and Service and Dynamic Security Management. Please review solution availability below for more updates on planning.

License certificate expiry for EAM and ASM per October 22, 2017

Customers that make use of the modules Enterprise Asset Management or Asset Service Management need to take note the expiration of the license certificate per October 22nd, 2017. Note that this concerns a different license certificate then the one that is renewed per August 2017. If you are running on Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations, Enterprise edition, we highly recommend that you renew the license for these modules before October 22nd. If you have not renewed the licenses on that date, an AOS re-start can cause some functions of the system to be no longer accessible. If you are running AX 2012 the impact is mainly caused by (re-)loading of licenses, an ASO re-start itself has no effect. We highly recommend that you renew the license for these modules before (re-)loading licenses for AX 2012 itself. More information on the impact and as part of which solutions both modules are sold can be found here.

Please contact salessupport@to-increase.com  to request new licenses for Enterprise Asset Management or Asset Service Management.

Advanced Project Planning for Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations, Enterprise edition is available for the July 2017 update

Advanced Project Planning is now available on Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations, Enterprise edition – July update (sometimes also referred to as the Spring release). This release also introduces new functions and features. You can now start using Resource Planning in the Project Quoation already. We have also made the intercompany feature available in the same way as it has been for some time AX2012, this allows you to manage your planning for Projects across different legal entities. Other improvements include a new capacity overview, the option to move projects or project quotations as a whole and Resource planning is now also available for multiple projects. We plan to further increase the capabilities for APP in multi-project scenarios in coming releases as well. Please contact your To-Increase representative to learn more about which scenarios are supported in the current release.

Advanced Maintenance and Service for Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations, Enterprise edition is available for the July 2017 update

Advanced Maintenance and Service is now also available on Dynamics 365 1707. This release is an update from the function and feature set as available on Dynamics 365 1611 with the addition of support data entities for Object Calendars, Object BOM, Responsible workers as well as improvements to other existing data entities. Please note that EAM Mobile is not available yet, we are dependent on a resolution by Microsoft for a login issue with no confirmed date as of yet. We plan to deliver EAM Mobile later and expect this to be compliant with the models in the current release. As part of the coming release of EAM Mobile we will also bring two new capabilities to the AMS solution: Planning board for workorders which allows drag and drop allocation of workorders to workers as well as Service portal which is designed to enable machine operators to conveniently can report faults and errors and can create requests. We will come out with more details once we release EAM Mobile.
