When you are active in a rental equipment-driven industry, it is important that your assets are always up to date when it comes to service and maintenance. When a customer sends in a request for equipment, you want to be able to deliver as quickly as possible and make sure that the equipment is fully up to date. DynaRent’s maintenance plan offers you the functionality to manage all your time- and consumption-based inspections and service.
With DynaRent’s maintenance plan you can automatically create work orders for your planning department based on meter registrations and/or time spent. This not only saves a lot of time, but also makes sure that your equipment is always ready to go.
DynaRent’s maintenance plans
By using DynaRent, you can create maintenance plans for all your assets. Each asset can have its own specific service intervals and different types of maintenance. We offer you a wide variety of options for auto-creating work orders.
Let’s take a look.
Image 1: An example of a time-based maintenance plan
In the image above, you can see a maintenance plan for assets that require calibration every six months. When you link this maintenance plan to an asset, DynaRent automatically creates a work order based on the time setup, which will alert your service department that calibration is necessary for that specific asset.
Image 2: An example of a consumption-based maintenance plan
This image shows a consumption-based time maintenance plan in which a preventive maintenance check is necessary every 10,000 hours of running time. Meter transactions keep track of the equipment’s use. When 10,000 hours is reached, the creation of a work order is triggered.
Of course, it is also possible to combine these maintenance plans, for example to combine mandatory yearly checks and maintenance based on usage. When you use DynaRent, the equipment that is shown as available to rent out will always be serviced and ready.
