Visual Planning

For Microsoft Dynamics NAV

To-Increase Visual Planning provides managers in project-based manufacturing companies with the visibility needed to perform initial top-down, strategic planning and move on to detailed, bottom-up scheduling of project resources.

Visual Planning brings clarity and simplicity to the planning of materials, resources, budgets, and schedules for your manufacturing projects. Working with the intuitive, graphic tools in Visual Planning, you define project milestones and timelines for jobs, production, and services to meet your goals and customer commitments. You can make full use of resources without over-scheduling them, and immediately assess the impact of planning actions on resource availability, equipment capacities, and task dependencies.

Efficient, template-based planning

Visual Planning templates let you prepare projects in a modular way, and you can also pre-set such details as task durations and task dependencies.

Dependable task planning

Once you establish task durations, non-working days, and project milestones, Visual Planning automatically estimates the job end date for a forward or ASAP schedule, or the required job start date for a backward or JIT schedule.

Planning warnings

Visual Planning alerts you to resource conflicts and constraints so you can avoid project bottlenecks.

Visual Assembly Planner

This capability lets you plan resources for assembly orders by simply setting the assembly line on an item card, determine the number of resources to work on this order, and letting the assembly order lifecycle create the resource tasks.
