Powerful allergen management and other new functionality in the To-Increase food industry solution

We are finalizing the last details of the next release of To-Increase Food Warehousing and Distribution, our industry solution suite for Microsoft Dynamics NAV. In that release of the food industry solution, you find a number of enhancements and new features. We added significant functionality in a number of areas, described in separate blog posts:

- Allergen Management is a critical risk mitigation capability that can be highly consequential for your business. In the 2017 release of the food solution suite, we help you manage allergens in your food production and distribution processes and facilities with full control and transparency. You can also download a whitepaper on this topic.

- Item and Document Lifecycle Management help you implement and enforce the workflows, approvals, and events at the right point in your processes. We optimized this pair of solutions, long available as stand-alone products, for the food industry.

- Item categories in Food Manufacturing and Distribution 2017 are enhanced and revised, both to provide you with stronger filtering capabilities as well as to reclaim a loss of functionality important to food companies in Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2017.

Other solution enhancements involve the transport order management and item attributes capabilities.

With a background that includes more than 10 years of assisting companies benefit from ERP, Martijn focuses mostly on our solutions for Microsoft Dynamics NAV. In his industry expertise, food manufacturing, distribution, discrete manufacturing, finance, and waste management figure very prominently. Before he joined our team, Martijn was a business consultant at one of the Netherlands’ leading IT consultancies and a functional ERP manager at an environmental services company.
