To-Increase Joins Siemens Solution Partner Program PLM

Copenhagen, DK, October 22, 2007 – To- Increase, a global ISV and provider of the Industrial Equipment Manufacturing (IEM) solution for Microsoft Dynamics AX™, award winner of the 2007 Microsoft Dynamics™ Industry Solutions ISV of the Year, announced today at the Microsoft Convergence 2007 Conference its partnership with Siemens PLM Software, a division of Siemens Automation and Drives (A&D), and a leading provider of product lifecycle management (PLM) software and services. To-Increase joins the Siemens Solution Partner Program PLM at the Foundation level.

The company will develop, market and sell process integration and automation technologies that seamlessly operate with the Teamcenter™ Express PLM suite, the collaborative product data management (cPDM) component of the UGS Velocity Series™ portfolio.

"This partnership is a great fit for our discrete manufacturing customers," says Cornelis Bosch, CEO of To-Increase. "Our strength in Connectivity and discrete manufacturing products has been successfully used by hundreds of customers. Most of our customers, specifically the ones that are using the IEM solution, will realize immediate benefit from best-in-class PDM and CAD integrations. The integration of the IEM solution with Teamcenter Express will be extremely beneficial for our customers and improve their time to market and reduce misunderstandings between engineering and production, the same goes for customers needing the integration between Siemens PLM oftware and standard Microsoft Dynamics AX which is also possible with our Connectivity tool."

Mr. Bjorn Kuijt, IEM Product Manager for To-Increase, commented upon the announcement of the enhanced relationship between To-Increase and Teamcenter Express.

“In the discrete manufacturing market, processes start with engineering information in the form of a released CAD model. In order to maximize efficiency in terms of process and data flow, we are very happy to announce the upcoming integration between Microsoft Dynamics AX IEM and Teamcenter Express. This joint effort allows information to be exchanged between Microsoft Dynamics AX and Teamcenter Express. For our customers that means quicker time-to-market, less errors in data and more efficiency when engineering hands over a design to manufacturing.”

“This partnership with To-Increase complements our PLM solution portfolio in the Microsoft Dynamics ERP area with another market-leading capability,” says Dave Shirk, executive vice president, Global Marketing, Siemens PLM Software. “It bridges the gap between engineering and production, and further demonstrates our commitment to Microsoft open standards and meeting the needs of mid-sized manufacturing organizations with integrated best-in-class solutions.”

The integration between Siemens PLM Software and Microsoft Dynamics AX will provide a stronger value proposition for project-based manufacturers allowing companies to improve the interaction between engineering and manufacturing.
